CATCH

CATCHPlus bouwt voort op het lopende NWO-onderzoeksprogramma ‘Continuous Access To Cultural Heritage’ (CATCH). In CATCH hebben geesteswetenschappers, informatici en de erfgoedsector een unieke samenwerking opgebouwd met collectiebeherende instellingen. Centraal staan vernieuwing, overdraagbaarheid en samenwerking.

CATCH startte in 2004 en een aantal onderzoeksprojecten is inmiddels afgerond. In CATCHPlus worden de prototypes en demo’s uit acht van de afgeronde deelprojecten omgezet in bruikbare tools. Software die in meerdere instellingen benut kan worden en die solide is. Van prototype naar bruikbare toepassing dus!
